This page is intended to clarify the most commonly asked questions about purchasing online.

Purchase policy

Customer Responsibility
Choose your items carefully as you do not have an automatic right to return goods. See our Return Policy below.
Check that your shipping details are correct; we accept no responsibility for lost goods under this circumstance.
Check that your payment details are correct; in the event of a payment failure we reserve the right to recover the full purchase price plus any bank or finance charges, plus any debt recovery agency commissions, in this case from you the customer.

Insurance
Shipment is at the risk of the buyer, as soon as it leaves our shop for delivery.
You can request insurance for your purchase against loss, theft or damage in transit .

Insurance is available as an option on our on-line shopping facility. It is your responsibilty to request insurance when placing telephone orders.

Historically, the loss of goods within Australia is less than a few points of 1%. But if you do not want to take the risk then ask for insurance.

Order Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation of your order by email. You may be contacted by us should your order require; an adjustment in price; is no longer available; has a supply delay or we require clarification.

We do not email you when we dispatch your goods, so if you feel that your order is taking longer than you expected please phone or email us with your order number.

Shipping Charges
Our website uses the Australia Post online calculator to calculate the correct postage of your order. In some cases this may be incorrect and an adjustment is made. If it has been over quoted we apply the reduction without notice. If it is under quoted we will contact you for confirmation of the new cost before processing the order.

Import Duties and Sales Tax
Charges imposed by the importing country are your responsibility. We advise you to contact your Customs department if you are concerned about these possible charges. Note that we mark the customs declaration as 'personal items not for resale'.

The Australian sales tax (GST) is deducted from the price of goods (not shipping) if the order originates from outside Australia.

Return policy

Items you are not satisfied with; because they are not as you envisaged from the online information, can be returned for credit or exchange if in mint condition. Items must be returned within 7 days and have not been used.

Sale items that are described as damaged cannot be returned due to damage.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. Return and re-shipping charges are at your cost.

Goods arriving damaged will be replaced or fully refunded; upon the provision of adequate proof of damage; and the request is made within 3 work days.

Items obviously damaged in the delivery should be returned to Australia Post and a damage claim for compensation made.

Special order items cannot be returned or exchanged.

You must contact us by phone or email before returning goods for instruction in regard to shipping and documentation.

Security and Privacy policy

Our shopping cart uses a secure processing system provided by our website provider. When you click the Checkout button you are transfered to https://secure.worthit.com.au which uses an encrypted connection to transfer your personal and credit card details to us for processing.

Credit card details are encrypted and are only held until processed.
Personal information remains in our system for order processing and record keeping purposes. It is not disclosed to any other party unless required to by law.

If you feel uneasy about providing credit card details online then please use our Fax/Mail order option for payment or give us a phone call.
